No. 3-ranked Riverside City College was a dominant force on offense to close out the Delta Women's Invitational Saturday. The Tigers grabbed a 16-4 victory over Modesto Junior College before capping the weekend with an 18-4 win against Fresno City College to improve to 19-1 on the year.
Against MJC, RCC scored early and frequently, jumping out to a 13-2 lead at halftime. Ten different Tigers scored in the victory, with Chandler Burrell, Ava Brown, Annabella Storar, Abigail Ruiz, Ashlynn Dodson and Yosra Elseifi each netting two goals.
In the cage, Kirsten Maag and Tea Summers combined for eight saves, each blocking four Pirate shots.
Riverside couldn't be contained in the nightcap and scored 10 goals in the first period alone.
Eleven Tigers capitalized, led by Storar and Elseifi, who each scored three goals.
RCC returns home to host Orange Coast College on Wednesday at 3 p.m. for an Orange Empire Conference contest.
