
RCC Women Water Poloists Post Another Pair of Victories to Remain Undefeated
RANCHO CUCAMONGA -- The Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers women's water polo squad posted a pair of solid victories Friday (Sept. 19) at the Chaffey Tournament to remain undefeated on the season.
Riverside (7-0 overall) toppled the Fresno City College Rams, 13-6, before vanquishing the Cerritos College Falcons, 17-2.
The Tigers jumped out to a 5-1 first-quarter lead over Fresno. By the end of the third quarter the Tigers had extended their lead to 10-2. Sophomore Nikki Bell (M.L. King '13) had four goals, while sophomore Alia McMorris (M.L. King '13) and frosh Kalawna Ray (Murrieta / Vista Murrieta '14), who is pictured, had two goals apiece.
In the second game of the day the Tigers looked sharp winning 17-2 over Cerritos College. Again Nikki Bell led the way with ten goals while Alia McMorris added four more.
RCC will take on the San Diego Mesa College Olympians and the host Chaffey College Panthers Saturday (Sept. 20) morning.
