Tigers Advance to SoCal Regional Championship
Riverside City College secured its spot in the 3C2A SoCal Regional Championship with a 5-3 victory over Glendale College Tuesday afternoon.
The Tigers improve to 16-4 on the year with one more team match on deck.
RCC took a 2-1 lead after the doubles competition, grabbing wins in the No. 2 and No. 3 spots.
Ronith Sreeram clinched the match in the No. 2 singles spot, while Augustin Daubannay and Charalampos Plataniotis also picked up wins for Riverside.
The Tigers host Irvine Valley College on Saturday at 2 p.m. with the regional title on the line.
