Riverside Blasts Saddleback on the Road

Riverside City College dominated a 9-0 win on the road at Saddleback College Tuesday afternoon.

The Tigers improve to 12-4 overall and remain undefeated in Orange Empire Conference action with a 6-0 mark. The Bobcats slip to 3-7 on the year, 0-5 in conference.

Both Lance Lao/Michael Chang and Giovanne Recchia/Charalampos Plataniotis shut out their doubles opponents as the Tigers swept all three matches to head into singles competition with momentum.

All six singles matches only went two sets as RCC only allowed eight total points to Saddleback in the singles competition.

The Tigers have a big contest in front of them as they head to Irvine Valley College on Thursday at 2 p.m.
