RCC Downs OCC On the Road

Riverside City College dominated its second Orange Empire Conference match, grabbing a 9-0 victory at Orange Coast College.

The Tigers improve to 6-3 on the year and 2-0 in OEC play, while the Pirates drop to 4-5 overall, 0-2 in conference.

Riverside dominated the doubles competition, winning all three matches with Ronith Sreeram/Augustin Daubannay and Charalampos Plataniotis/Giovanne Recchia both shutting out their opponents.

Lance Lao didn't allow a single point in his singles match (6-0, 6-0). Daubannay had to battle in the No. 3 spot, coming out on top 7-5, 7-6 (4).

The Tigers continue on the road with an OEC contest at Fullerton College on Thursday. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
