RCC Battles But Falls Short in SoCal Regional Finale

Results

Riverside City College battled but came up just short in the 3C2A SoCal Regional Team Championship, falling 5-2 to Irvine Valley College.

The Tigers end the year with a team record of 16-5 overall, while the Lasers improve to 12-2 on the year and advance to the 3C2A State Championship next week.

Augustin Daubannay and Charalampos Plataniotis picked up wins for Riverside in singles competition. 

RCC heads to the State Championship next week after all three doubles and all six singles players qualified to compete at Ojai, Calif.
