Two Tiger Doubles Teams Battle at 3C2A State Championship
Riverside City College saw both of its doubles teams battle but fall in the semifinals of the 3C2A State Championship on Sunday.
Michael Chang and Lance Lao fought through three sets but ultimately couldn't overcome Foothill College's Keisuke Ariga and Abdala Quintero in their semifinal match, 65-77, 6-1, 10-8.
Augustin Daubannay and Ronith Sreeram also battled but fell 77-65, 6-2 in their semifinal to the ultimate champions Luciano Pardo and Nick Grove, from Irvine Valley College.
