Tigers Fly Past Hornets

Riverside City College kept rolling with a 9-0 victory over Fullerton College Thursday afternoon.

The Tigers improve to 7-3 on the year and remain undefeated in Orange Empire Conference action at 3-0, while the Hornets drop to 4-3 overall, 2-2 in conference.

All three Tiger doubles teams dominating their matchups, with Ronith Sreeram/Augustin Daubannay and Charalampos Plataniotis/Giovanne Recchia each posting 8-0 shutout victories.

Recchia and Plataniotis continued to shutout their opponents (6-0, 6-0) in singles action, while Lance Lao allowed just two points in his singles match (6-1, 6-1).

Riverside remains on the road, heading to Hope International University on Friday for a non-conference matchup at 12 p.m. The Tigers return home on Tuesday, hosting Saddleback College at 2 p.m.
