Riverside City College couldn't get much offense going in a 2-0 loss to No. 4-ranked Orange Coast College Tuesday afternoon.
The Tigers drop to 11-21 on the year, 4-9 in the Orange Empire Conference, while the Pirates improve to 24-4 overall, 12-1 in conference.
RCC only saw one hit in the game: a single from Destiny Amezcua in the top of the fifth.
Jessica Gaitan tried to keep the Pirates in check and struck out eight batters in six innings of action, allowing just four hits and no earned runs.
Riverside and OCC are back at it on Thursday, this time at Evans Sports Complex at 3 p.m.
