Riverside City College heated its bats up but couldn't send runners home in a 6-3 loss at Orange Coast College Friday afternoon.
The Tigers drop to 11-23 on the year and 4-11 in Orange Empire Conference action, while the Pirates improve to 26-4 overall, 14-1 in conference.
Six different Tigers had hits in the game: Jocelyn Romero (1-for-3), Carissa O'Neil (1-for-4), Alysse Flores (1-for-4), Abigail Baldwin (1-for-3), Destiny Amezcua (1-for-2) and Ruby McDonald (1-for-2).
RCC takes a break from conference action, heading to Mt. San Jacinto College on Tuesday for a 2 p.m. game.
