Riverside City College dropped the first game of the Golden West Tournament Friday but bounced back with a win in the afternoon. The Tigers fell 17-10 to No. 7-ranked Cuesta College before downing San Joaquin Delta College 13-8.
RCC moves to 12-14 with the split on the day.
In the first game of the day, six different Tigers scored, with Lennon Franklin leading the charge with three goals. Nathan Ferguson and Finn Shelbourne added two goals each, while Davis DeAnda, Colby Martin and Luke Bills also scored for RCC.
Martin led the Tigers with four goals in the nightcap and Ferguson chipped in three goals. Franklin and Jack Armstrong each netted a pair of goals, while Geoffrey Smith and Darian Thompson also scored.
Riverside is back at Orange Coast College for an 11:30 a.m. matchup with El Camino College.
