Tigers Finish Cuesta Tournament 3-1
On the second day of the Cuesta College Tournament in SanLuis Obispo, the RCC men's water polo team went 2-0 to finish the tournament 3-1 while improving their overall record to 5-2; 1-0 in conference.
In the first game of the day, RCC defeated American River College 17-10. Leading the Tigers in scoring were Sophomore Christopher Forte with 6 goals and both Freshman Reese Verdayou and Sophomore Brody Wood, each with 4 goals. Sophomore goalie, Nicho Morabito had 9 saves.
In the second game, RCC won a close, high intensity game with Ventura College by a score of 12-11. Leading the tigers in scoring again was Forte and Verdayou, who each netted 4 goals for the tigers.
