Men’s Golf Caps Season at State Showdown

The Riverside City College men's golf team reached the 3C2A State Championship ballad for the first time since 2018 hosted at the Dragonfly Golf Club in Madera, CA. The Tigers shot a 734 (371, 363) on the Par 73, 6,795 yard course leading to a seventh place finish.

Reedley College claimed the title with a team stroke count of 711, while Orange Empire Conference (OEC) foe Saddleback earned second place with a 717 score. Sierra finished third with a 724 score to round out the top-three teams.

Freshman Ryan Osorio was at the helm for the Tigers as he shot a team-best 146 (71, 74). His day-two 71 score was tied for the best round for Riverside in the two-day tournament.

Sophomore Bingcheng Zheng followed with a 145 (75, 71), while sophomore Kyle Hartford backed him with a 149 (78, 71). They added the two other two-under scores to lead the charge.

Freshamn Aiden Forrest had the third-lowest card count after penciling a two-round score of 147 (73, 74). He arguably played the most consistent golf out of the five some.
