Tigers Take Third on Home Course

Riverside City College hosted Orange Empire Conference competition Monday at the Victoria Country Club and took third overall with a 388.

The Tigers were just seven strokes off second place Mt. San Antonio College, while the College of the Desert took first with a 373.

Ronny Zheng led the Tigers with a 73, while Vincent Chen was just one stroke behind him at 74. Prem Worradej carded a 79 on the day and Ken Watanasiripong and Conner Kendrick rounded out the scorers for Riverside with respective scores of 80 and 82. Aidan Forrest was the Tigers' drop score of 87.

RCC has two more competitions before postseason action, heading to Mt. San Antonio's home course (El Prado Golf Course) on Monday at 10 a.m.
