Riverside Drops Tiger Battle

Riverside City College took on four-year opponent Occidental College Friday afternoon in a battle of the Tigers and dropped a 5-2 loss.

The RCC Tigers slip to 9-3 on the year, while the Oxy Tigers improve to 7-4 overall.

Julianna Capraro and Caroline Cocker won their doubles competition 6-4. Capraro also won her singles match, along with Madison Reynoso (4-6, 6-4, 10-3).

Riverside closes out the regular season on Tuesday, hosting Saddleback College at 2 p.m. before the postseason begins in April.
