Tigers Finish Their 3C2A State Championship Run

Riverside City College saw the last of its competitors bow out of the 3C2A State Championship Saturday.

Janine Kremling and Denise Campbell won their first match of the day with a 6-4, 6-2 victory to move into the quarterfinals late Saturday night. It took three sets, but the Tigers couldn't secure their spot in the semifinals, falling 2-6, 7⁷-6¹, 10-4

Jordyn Sundberg and Madison Reynoso battled in the Sweet 16, but came up just short in a 6-3, 4-6, 10-7 three-set loss.

Earlier in the day, Kremling fell 6-2, 6-2 in the singles quarterfinals.
