Riverside City College tipped off the Orange Empire Conference tournament Thursday night against a familiar foe, but once again came up short in a 62-51 loss at No. 9-ranked Santiago Canyon College.
The Tigers drop to 12-16 overall with their second-straight loss to the Hawks, who improve to 23-5 on the year.
Andre Skelin led the Tigers with 15 points (7-for-13), while Christian Warren chipped in 11 points (3-for-7).
Deacon Toliver grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
RCC moves to the left side of the OEC Tournament bracket and will face Saddleback College next Wednesday, Feb. 19.
