The Tigers slip to 3-2 on the year, while the Owls improve to 3-1 overall.
Christian Warren led the Tigers with 15 points on 4-of-9 shooting. Deacon Toliver followed with 10 points (5-for-8).
Toliver and Andre Skelin each grabbed seven rebounds to help Riverside compete off the glass.
The Tigers look to bounce back on the road, heading to Long Beach City College on Friday at 5 p.m.
