In its second-straight overtime game, Riverside City College couldn't pull out the victory and fell 84-79 to Ventura College to close out the We Play Hard Tournament.
The Tigers drop to 2-1 on the young year, while the Pirates improve to 2-1 overall.
Four Tigers finished in double figures, with Christian Warren going off for 25 points on 9-of-18 shooting. Corey Mitchell posted 13 points (5-for-17), Andre Skelin chipped in 11 points (5-for-8), and Joby Barnes contributed 10 points (3-for-5).
Off the glass, Warren grabbed 10 rebounds for a double-double as Riverside out-rebounded Ventura 40-to-37.
Riverside makes its home debut on Wednesday, hosting San Diego Mesa at 5 p.m. in Wheelock Gym.
