Riverside City College couldn't overcome a rough first half in a 76-49 loss to Irvine Valley College Wednesday night.
The Tigers drop to 12-13 overall, 4-8 in the Orange Empire Conference, while the Lasers improve to 13-12 on the year and 5-7 in conference.
Deacon Toliver led the Tigers with 12 points (5-for-6), while Corey Mitchell followed with 11 points (4-for-6).
Andre Skelin led RCC's rebounding effort with seven boards.
It was a rough shooting night for the Tigers as they finished with a 27.5 field goal percentage and didn't make a single three-point shot. Meanwhile, the Lasers fired on all cylinders with a 50.0 field goal percentage.
RCC returns home for its final game in Wheelock Gym for the year, hosting No. 15-ranked Fullerton College on Friday at 7 p.m.
