Riverside City College powered through to a 66-52 victory over Santa Monica College on Friday.
The Tigers improve to 3-4 on the year, while the Corsairs drop to 1-3 overall.
Brianna Ruelas led RCC with 21 points (6-for-14), while Alexa Moreno followed with 10 points (2-for-5). Zakai Howard was just on the cusp of a double-double, posting eight points (4-for-8) and nine rebounds.
Salote Patetefa grabbed seven boards, helping the Tigers dominate the glass 57-40.
Despite Santa Monica trying to battle back in the fourth, RCC held on for the 66-52 win.
Riverside is back home on Tuesday, hosting the College of the Canyons at 5 p.m.
