Riverside City College battled but fell 69-64 to No. 24-ranked Grossmont College Friday night.
The Tigers drop to 7-5 on the year, while the Griffins improve to 9-2 overall.
Talia Washington led four Tigers in double figures with 25 points (8-for-20). N'Dya Parks added 14 points (7-for-19) and grabbed 11 rebounds for her 10th double-double of the year. Ariel Perkins also posted a double-double with 11 points (4-for-13) and 11 boards. Michelle Soto chipped in 10 points (5-for-7).
The Tigers out-rebounded the Griffins 56-to-42 but struggled to keep control of the ball and turned it over 18 times.
RCC tried to battle back in the final two minutes of the game and pulled within five, but time ran out to give Grossmont the 69-64 victory.
Riverside heads to the El Camino College Christmas Crossover next, taking on host El Camino on Monday at 7 p.m.
