RCC Competes Against Familiar Foe at Golden West Meet

Riverside City College competed at the Golden West Invitational Friday, taking on some familiar foe.

Zeke Serrano won the 100-yard butterfly, touching the wall in 52.19 seconds.

Yousef Nahali won the 50 free in 21.57 seconds, improving on his time from two weeks ago at the Riverside Sprint Meet by over a second.

Jared Ladinez won his second 100 breast race of the season, posting a time of 58.15 seconds.

The Tigers' 200 medley relay team of Nahali, Jared Ladinez, Zeke Serrano and Damion Montegue took second with a time of 1:38.41. The 800 free relay team (Ladinez, Serano, Vincent Fiero, and Jeremiah Ireland) also grabbed second with a time of 7:24.19.

The Tigers are back at Golden West on Friday, this time to start OEC action.
