RCC Spoils Paradise Valley SoCal Visit

Riverside City College took a break from conference action and defeated Paradise Valley College 8-1 on Thursday afternoon.

The Tigers improve to 13-2 on the year with their fifth-straight win, while the Pumas drop to 4-1 with their first loss of the season.

Riverside swept the doubles, with both teams of Emilio Real/Matias Almeida-Ponce and Lance Lao/Michael Chang each posting 8-4 wins.

Raphael Delente, Lao, Maurice Nolan, Alexander Martinez and Chang won their singles matches to help the Tigers pick up the team win.

RCC looks to keep rolling as it hosts Gustavus Adolphus on Monday at 2 p.m.
