Men's Tennis Highlights Sophomores in Season-Ending Sweep

It was a strong ending to an even stronger season for the Riverside City College men's tennis team on Monday afternoon as they played host to the crosstown Mt. San Jacinto College Eagles. In a lineup that featured a sophomore-heavy structure, the Tiger prevailed by the final score of 9-0.

Sophomore Chris Lee and freshman Justin Rigsby held down the top doubles spot for the first time this season and cruised to an 8-4 win. Sophomores Dylan Bresser and Felipe Bravo enjoyed their final match as the number two doubles team and reigned supreme 8-6.

All singles matches ended in two sets with sophomore Matthew Stark having the most impressive and dominant win at 6-0, 6-0. Sophomore Aurelein Arlot followed with a 6-0, 6-0 victory, backed by a 7-5, 6-0 win from fellow sophomore Florian Sirven.

Sophomores Andrew Hernandez and Jacob McMahon capped their Tiger careers with victories as well.
