Men’s Tennis Remains Unbeaten in Second Conference Victory

The Riverside City College men's tennis team continued action on a gloomy Tuesday evening at home against the Saddleback College Gauchos in Orange Empire Conference (OEC) action. Despite the cold weather, the Tigers remain scorching hot on the courts leading to a 9-0 sweep to remain undefeated.

Kayne Trustfull paced Riverside as the top singles player and worked his way to a 6-0, 6-3 victory. Thomas Pidoux followed with a 6-1, 6-2 win as the number two, backed by a two-set victory by Elie Noe-Nicolay as the number three. Thierry van Os had an impressive win at the six with a score of 6-1, 6-0.

Trustfull and Pidoux dominated their doubles match by defeating their opponent 8-0. Miles Clark and Nicolay backed the pair with an 8-3 win at the number three doubles.

The Tigers (10-0, 2-0 OEC) will continue conference play against the Orange Coast College Pirates at home on Thursday, March 1st at 2 p.m.
