Men’s Tennis Sweeps Doubles in Victory over Bakersfield

A strong doubles showing for the Riverside City College men's tennis team highlighted a 6-3 win over Bakersfield College on Tuesday afternoon in their home opener.

Freshman Thomas Pidoux (Perpignon, France) continued his strong play by winning his singles match 6-2, 6-1. He later teamed up with freshman Kanye Trustfull (Amsterdam, Netherlands) to defeat the Bakersfield's top doubles team 8-0.

Sophomore Brandon Moerer (Riverside, CA) won his singles match 6-4, 6-1, followed by freshman James Curtis (Riverside, CA) winning a close three-set match by the final scores of 6-2, 1-6, 10-6.

The Tigers (2-0) will continue action at home on Thursday, February 1st against Mt. San Jacinto College at 2 p.m.
