Rosales, Ewell Pace Women’s Track & Field at Arnie Robinson Invitational

The Riverside City College men's track & field program traveled to San Diego, CA on Friday to compete in the Arnie Robinson Invitational hosted by San Diego Mesa College. The Tigers displayed some strong marks highlighted by sophomore Alejandra Rosales landing on the podium three times.

Rosales continues to pace the pack by hauling in another gold medal in the Discus (147' 4"). She followed by placing second in the Shot Put (39' 7.25") and the Hammer (133' 2"). Freshman Isabelle Campos rounded out the top marks in the throws area with a fourth place showing in the Javelin (85' 1").

Sophomore speedster Zoe Ewell placed second in the 100 M (12.14), followed by a fourth-place mark in the 200 M (25.22). Freshman Briana Miller followed with a fourth-place clip in the 400 M (1:00.36), backed by a sixth place showing from freshman Sarah De Leon in the 400 M (1:02.53).

Freshman Kaylie Duffy earned the bronze medal in the 100 M Hurdles (17.90) to round out the top showings in the sprints arena.

Sophomore Elani Huntley missed the podium  by a mere position by finishing fourth in the 5000 M (18:54.33). Freshman Adileni Pacheco placed sixth overall in the 1500 M (5:27.64).
