Munoz Leads Riverside at Manny Bautista Invite

Riverside City College took fifth overall at the Manny Bautista Invite on Friday, hosted by San Diego Mesa College.

Nadia Munoz led the Tigers with a fifth-place finish, crossing the 5K finish line in 18 minutes, 59.75 seconds.

Citlaly Ruiz was RCC's second runner, clocking in at 20:40.41, followed by Celeste Mendoza at 20:57.23 and Jaiden Kelly at 22:04.36. Audianna Salgado rounded out the top five for Riverside with a time of 22:20.68.

The Tigers have one more meet before postseason begins in November, heading to the John Elders Titan Invite, hosted by Cal State Fullerton, on Oct. 25 at 5 p.m.
