Jones Grabs Second SCFA Offensive Player of the Week Honor
No. 3-ranked Riverside City College's Brady Jones was named the Southern California Football Association Offensive Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks.
The sophomore quarterback had a major hand in the Tigers' dominant homecoming victory over No. 21-ranked Mt. San Jacinto (76-16). He finished with 433 passing yards on 19 completions, five passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Jones also rushed four times for 52 yards and scored the first touchdown of the game.
Jones, who currently leads the 3C2A in passing yards per game (383.0) and passing touchdowns (17), and the Tigers have a bye this week before returning to action on Oct. 19 for a 3 p.m. kickoff at Grossmont College.
