RCCD COVID-19 Fan & Spectator Policy

* PLEASE NOTE *

As of November 2, 2021, RCCD has changed the indoor spectator policy. The current policy for outdoor events will remain in effect. 

INDOOR - Vaccine Verification for Entry 

Individuals who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, have been in close contact (within 6 feet for more than 15 minutes during a 24-hour time period) with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days, or are under any isolation or quarantine orders due to COVID-19, cannot enter any RCCD premises.

In order to access the game, a fan or spectator must provide the following:

  • All guests 12 years of age and older to provide proof of full vaccination with ID

  • CLEARED4 digital or printed proof of a “BLUE PASS”

PLEASE NOTE - Fans under the age of 12 are not subject to proof of vaccination.

PLEASE NOTE - Fans under the age of 12 are not subject to proof of vaccination. Parents/guardians need to provide written/printed proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 48 hours (about 2 days) of the game to gain entry to the game.

Game Day Check In Policy

Outdoor Events - Fans and spectators must provide full proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test two days prior to the date of competition. Each event site will be accompanied with a COVID-19 Vaccination & Test Verification booth. 

Indoor Events - Fans and spectators must provide full proof of vaccination with an ID. Each event site will be accompanied with a COVID-19 Vaccination & Test Verification booth. 

In order to gain entry in Wheelock Stadium, Riverside Aquatics Complex, Evans Sports Complex and RCC Tennis Courts, you must follow this process:  

  • Check in at the verification booth with proper documentation 
  • Once approved, receive a verification hand stamp. Only one hand stamp is needed for Evans Sports Complex and the Riverside Aquatics Complex  
  • For football or playoff events, purchase ticket and get an additional hand stamp to enter the game.  

In order to gain entry in Wheelock Gymnasium and Huntley Gymnasium, you must follow this process:  

  • Check in at the verification booth with proper documentation 
  • Once approved, receive a verification hand stamp  
  • For charged events including tournaments or playoff games, purchase ticket and recieve an additional hand stamp to enter the game. 

All fans and spectators must follow this process. Failure to follow this procedure will constitute removal from the venue.

Vaccination Verification Check Points

Game sites will have checkpoints prior to entry to receive approval to enter. Checkpoints will monitor and confirm vaccination status prior to granting entry. Failure to follow instructions or RCCD procedures can lead to your removal from campus. 

Ticketed Contests - Football and Playoff Games

BUYING A TICKET DOES NOT PROVIDE AUTOMATIC OR CONTINUED ACCESS TO THE GAME. Game sites will have checkpoints prior to entry to receive approval to enter.  Checkpoints will monitor and confirm vaccination status prior to granting entry. Failure to follow instructions or RCCD procedures can lead to your removal from the game. 

CLEARED4 System

Fans and spectators have the option to sign up through the CLEARED4 system and complete their COVID-19 proof of vaccination. This must be completed at least 72 hours before arriving at RCC.

Face Coverings 

All guests ages four (4) and older are required to wear a face coverings that properly covers the face and mouth, except when actively eating or drinking, at RCCD athletic venues. Failure to follow this policy may lead to removal from the game. 

Physical Distancing 

All guests are strongly encouraged to distance physically six feet apart from others as much as possible during the game. 

Field, Court, Complex, Gym Access 

Only players (including cheer and band), coaches, officials, and game day administrators have access to field, court, pool deck, or other competition areas at RCCD venues. Home fans and visiting fans will be asked to sit in separated locations at the competition site. 

Parking 

Out of an abundance of caution and safety, no tailgating is allowed. You must have a parking ticket to the contest and proof of vaccination to park at RCC on game day. Day use permits may be purchased using parking meters or the ParkMobile App for $5 (cash or credit for games).
