Riverside Earns Season-Best Conference Mark

Riverside Earns Season-Best Conference Mark

The Riverside City College men's golf team participated in Orange Empire Conference (OEC) action at the Tustin Ranch Golf Course hosted by the Irvine Valley College Lasers. The Tigers experienced their best mark in conference play by earning fourth overall with a stroke count of 401. It is currently their season-best mark against conference competition.

Leading the pack was freshman Theo Delehanty who carded a team-low three-over at 75. After being four over on the front nine, he went on to record four birdies highlighted by two-consecutive chirps on the 16th and 17th hole.

Sophomore Jordan Reynoso carded a five-over at 77. He had a strong front nine that found him just one stroke over par despite recording a bogey on the opening hole. A triple-bogey on the 11th hole put him in a deep hole on his final nine holes.

Freshman Jared Jenkins placed third amongst his teammates with a six-over 78, while freshman Carter Anderson carded an 82.

Riverside will continue conference action on Monday, March 25 at the Victoria Country Club.
