Tigers Blank College of the Desert and Victor Valley by 5-0 Scores Last Friday
SAN BERNARDINO -- Gaining its first sweep of the season, the Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers women's beach volleyball team posted a pair of 5-0 shutouts over the Victor Valley College Rams and the College of the Desert Roadrunners last Friday (Mar. 24) in a pair of non-conference matches at Pearce Sports Center, RCC's designated home court in 2017.
Pictured is sophomore Marissa Vialpando, who helped RCC gained wins at No. 1 doubles in both matches, along with Lauren Wells.
Riverside City, 4-5 overall, 0-0 in Orange Empire Conference (OEC), will next compete on Friday, Mar. 31, when it visits the host Golden West College Rustlers for a OEC double header which will also include the Saddleback College Gauchos.
