Tigers Gain Split in San Diego; Host Desert and Victor Valley Friday at Pearce Sports Center in San Bernardino
SAN DIEGO -- Paced by the tandem play of No. 2: Marcella Rodriquez and Huafa Saulala, the Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers women's beach volleyball team gained a split of its matches Friday (Mar. 17) at Mission Beach.
Riverside City (2-5 overall) defeated the San Diego State University (SDSU) Aztecs (club), 4-1, but lost to the host San Diego City College (SDCC) Knights, 3-2.
Rodriquez and Saulala combined to post wins against SDCC (15-21, 21-10, 15-9) and SDSU club (20-22, 23-21, 15-6).

Riverside will next be in action on Friday, Mar. 24, when it hosts its first matches of the season at Pearce Sports Center in San Bernardino. The Tigers will compete against the College of the Desert (COD) Roadrunners and the Victor Valley College (VVC) Rams in a pair of non-conference matches. Action begins at 10 a.m.
