Thirteen Tigers Sign National Letters of Intent on Traditional Signing Day Tuesday, Feb. 1
RIVERSIDE -- Showing no signs of triskaidekaphobia (fear of the number thirteen), thirteen members from the Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers football program signed National Letters of Intent (NLI) to further their academic and athletic careers on Tuesday, Feb. 1. The signings took place at RCC's Hall of Fame Room in the Ralph H. Bradshaw Student Services Building.
After some brief pleasantries by RCC director of athletics Jim Wooldridge, RCC associate head football coach James Kuk made some comments about this group of young men.
In addition to the five Tigers who signed as midyear transfers last December 14 (2016), another eight are undecided and a few others will also transfer at the end of the springs semester brining the total close to 25 transfers. The latest list of RCC's signing transfers appears below.
Riverside was 10-2 overall in 2016 with the season-ending loss coming against the Fullerton College Hornets in the Southern California regional final (National Bowl). RCC was National Central League co-Champion (5-1).
