Riverside Looks to Build on Successful First Two Days of OEC Championship

Riverside City College found success on the first two days of the Orange Empire Conference Swim and Dive Championships. The Tigers currently sit in third place with 367 points heading into the final day of championships on Saturday.

Lennon Franklin won the 100-yard fly by .05 seconds, clocking in at 50.02 seconds, while Zekiah Serrano was right on his tail at 50.07 seconds.

Marius Mora finished second in the 200-yard free, posting a time of 1:42.91, while Gerardo Garcia took fourth in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:21.91.

Franklin took fifth in the 500-yard free with a time of 4:52.90, while Dulkis grabbed fifth in the 100-yard breast (1:01.50)

Nahali grabbed second in the 50-yard free, touching the wall in 20.74 seconds, and took fifth in the 100-yard backstroke at 54.58 seconds.

Vincent Roulhac won the 3-meter diving board with a score of 196.65 points.

Three Tiger relay teams took second: the 200-yard free relay team (Yousef Nahali, Marius Mora, Lennon Franklin, Zekiah Serrano) in 1:23.12, the 200-yard medley team (Franklin, Nathan Dulkis, Serrano, Nahali) in 1:34.20, and the 800-yard free relay team (Serrano, Mora, Garcia, Franklin) in 6:57.04.  The 400-yard medley team (Nahali, Dulkis, Gerardo Garcia, Mora) finished third in 3:36.64.
