RIVERSIDE -- Hosting its own three-team round-robin tournament, the Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers Women's Volleyball team won both of its matches Friday (Sept. 11) as it posted a 3-1 win over the Mt. San Antonio College (MSAC) Mounties and a 3-0 win over the Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) Eagles in RCC's legendary Arthur N. Wheelock Gymnasium.
Riverside (4-0) concluded Friday's action with a 3-0 non-conference victory over MSJC (0-7) by the scores of 25-20, 26-24, 25-10. At 4-0, the Tigers are off to their best start since 2010 when they won their first eight matches and were 11-1 heading into Orange Empire Conference (OEC) action.

Perhaps the turning point of the match happened in the second set when MSAC squandered leads of 8-2, 14-5, and 16-6, before RCC mounted a huge comeback.
