Men’s Golf Hosts Riverside Invitational, Places 10th Overall

The Riverside City College men's golf team played host to 15 California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) teams as they held the Riverside Invitational at the Victoria Country Club on Monday morning. It was a below average showing for the Tigers as they dropped to 10th place with each individual score landing above even par.

Riverside accumulated a team stroke count of 404. College of the Desert hauled in the top spot with a 371, backed by Santa Barbara's 377 and Saddleback's 379.

Leading the charge for the Tigers was sophomore Kyle Hartford who landed three over at 75. He had a shaky front nine as seen in five pars and four bogies, but he regrouped on the back nine leading to a pair of birdies and a lone bogey.

Sophomore Bingcheng Zang was tabbed the number one swinger for Riverside and finished five over at 78. He penciled in one birdie each on the front and back nine. Freshman Cameron Hartling finished with an 80 overall, while freshman Ryan Osorio followed with an 86.

Sophomore Jarred Jenkins rounded out the roster with a 93.
