Riverside Places Fourth in 36-Hole Championship, Finishes Fifth in Conference

The Tigers hit the links for the 36-hole Orange Empire Conference (OEC) Championships on Monday morning to capped off the Spring II season. Riverside carded a team total of 770 which landed them four strokes off the podium for fourth place and fifth place in conference.

Sophomore Theodoren Delehanty proved to be the most consistent golfer by carding a 74 throughout the first round followed by a 76 on the second go around. Sophomore Jordan Medlock, who has two individual victories to his name, got off to a rocky start by penciling a 77 in the opening 18. He followed by shooting a field-low 65 during the second round.

Both Delehanty and Medlock earned OEC All-Conference recognition after placing seventh and eighth, respectively.

Sophomore Jordan Reynoso capped his season with a season-low 72 backed by a 79 on the front. Freshman Brian Bashaw finished with a 79 to mark his best score of the day, while freshman Kyle Harford earned an 81 and an 82.
