Riverside City College scored early and often in a 17-7 victory over San Joaquin Delta College on Thursday afternoon.
The Tigers improve to 3-2 on the year, while the Mustangs slip to 1-1 overall.
Yosra Elseifi had a solid day with nine goals on 11 shots and eight steals. Natalia James and Madison each added two goals, while RCC also saw goals from Angelina Beall, Isabella Stolpp, Keira Casey and Brooklyn Wagner. Stolpp also had three assists in the game.
In the cage, Alyssa Cortez finished with eight saves to pick up the save.
Riverside hosts a two-day tournament, beginning with Crafton Hills College on Friday at 8 a.m. The Tigers then get another game against the Mustangs at 1:50 p.m.
