Riverside City College couldn't quite seem to find its rhythm on offense Wednesday night, falling 3-1 to San Bernardino Valley College (25-17, 25-11, 21-25, 25-16).
The Tigers drop to 2-3 on the year, while the Wolverines improve to 2-1.
Sara Brittin had a stellar night for RCC, posting eight kills on 16 attempts with just one error to hit at an impressive .438 clip. Jayden Frachere also had eight kills (8-4-32), while Savannah Smith posted five kills in the match.
Riley Rush dished out 22 assists and had two aces, while Smith finished with 23 digs and Keira Isgar chipped in 17 digs on defense.
Riverside looks to clean things up and get back on track at Glendale College on Friday as the Tigers take on two teams in one day. RCC first faces host school Glendale at 1 p.m. before challenging the College of the Desert at 3:30 p.m.
