Women’s Tennis Gets Back on Track
It was an easy win for the Riverside City College women's tennis team on Tuesday afternoon as they hosted the Saddleback College gauchos in Orange Empire Conference (OEC) play. Saddleback did not meet the minimum player requirements, thus handing the Tigers an automatic victory.
Freshman tandem Samantha Treat and Daisie Flores played in a doubles match and won in a close battle, 8-5.
Treat continued on to cruise as the top singles player by the final score f 6-0, 6-2. Freshman Tiffany Riha played in her first-career match, but fell in two sets.
The Tigers will complete a two-match stint against the Gauchos on the road Thursday, April 29 at 2 p.m.
