In the 2019-20 academic season, Michelle Daddona begins her 21^st season as the head coach of the Riverside City College (RCC) softball program. At 537-360-3 (.599), Daddona ranks as the Tigers’ all-time winningest softball coach.

The 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013 seasons stand out in her career. In 2013, the Tigers finished second in the state, losing the "if necessary" game to eventual state champion Palomar. In 2012, the Tigers finished third in the state recording what was then the best finish in the program's history. In 2011, Coach Daddona captured the College's first Orange Empire Conference (OEC) title.

The 2019 RCC softball squad finished 28-16 overall, 13-8 (third place) in the OEC.

The OEC is regarded as one of the toughest conferences in the nation. In 2009, she guided the Tigers to the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) State Championship Tournament, their first state finals appearance in softball.

With Coach Daddona at the helm of the program, the Tigers have qualified for the Southern California Regionals 13 times and have finished lower than fourth in the conference race just five times.

Coach Daddona came to RCC with a wealth of coaching and playing experience. Prior to arriving at the College, she was an assistant softball coach at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo for three years. During her stint at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Coach Daddona was in charge of player development, internal recruiting, promotions, correspondence, team travel, and concessions as well as camps and clinics.

Her coaching career began in 1993 when she was the assistant varsity basketball coach at her alma mater, Walnut High School. Before becoming a successful coach, Daddona was an excellent player herself.  She has been inducted into the Hall of Fame at Walnut High School, where she received nine varsity letters — softball (4), basketball (3) and volleyball (2). During her career at Walnut H.S., Daddona earned four all-league citations — three in softball and one for volleyball. She also earned All-CIF honors three times in softball.  After graduating from Walnut H.S., Coach Daddona enrolled at Mt. San Antonio College, where she earned All-South Coast Conference honors in softball before moving on to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Daddona is single and resides in Walnut with her son, Noah, and daughter, Anaya.
