Men’s Golf Places First at the Mt. SAC Invitational
The Riverside City College men's golf team participated in the Mt. San Antonio College Invitational in conference action. The Tigers put together a solid round with four scores landing in the 70s leading to a victory.
Riverside penciled a team score of 380 which lead the field. Freshman Kevin Aung landed two under with a score of 70. He notched two birdies on the day which came on back to back holes. He capped his front nine with a birdie and began his back nine with a birdie as well.
Jordan Medlock followed by shooting a one over at 73 which featured a one birdie, but two bogeys. He shot even through the back nine. Louis Zan followed with a four over at 76. He had a rough front nine with a bogey and a double bogey, but a birdie on the second hole kept him at bay. A birdie on the 10th hole led him to his final score.
Brian Bashaw capped the 70s play with a 79, while Thoereon Delehanty had an off day with an 86.
