In 2014, Daniel Barlage begins his eighth season as an assistant at Riverside City College. Barlage was the head coach at Valley View High School in Moreno Valley for seven years, winning the 2001 Inland Empire Football Coach of the Year award.

Barlage, who played collegiate football at Northern Michigan University, started his coaching career at Wayne State University (MI), where he coached the offensive line from 1994-96. In 1997, he joined the staff at Valley View High School and eventually took over the program from 2000 through 2006.

A native of Belleville, MI, Barlage and his wife, Jennifer, have two children: Jacob and Caylie.
