The Riverside swimming and diving program kicked off this year's campaign by hosting the Riverside Sprint Invitational featuring the Golden West College Rustlers and the Orange Coast College Pirates. Both sides featured some strong performances throughout the strictly sprint meet.

Sophomore tandem Hannah Beth Cain and Liz Bouffort picked up right where they left off with a gold medal each. Cain finished atop the 50 Back (31.23), while Bouffort paced the 200 Free (2:07.78). Freshman Victoria Hernandez earned a first place mark in the 100 Fly (1:14.78) to cap the top finishes for Riverside.

Sophomore Amelia Bennett  placed third in the 100 Breaststroke (1:16.56) to round out the podium marks.
