Riverside Wins OEC Championship
Riverside City College placed four runners in the top 10 to secure the Orange Empire Conference Championship.
Savannah Ganter led the charge, clocking in at 19 minutes, 05.91 seconds to take second place overall and earn herself all-conference first-team honors. Nadia Munoz wasn't far behind in fourth place with a time of 19:12.80, while Dakota Zamarripa finished sixth in 19:59.67 to round out the trio with first-team all-conference recognition.
Citlaly Ruiz grabbed a top-10 finish after coming in ninth with a time of 20:41.66, while Lidia Barrios took 11th after crossing the finish line in 21:26.26.
Adileni Pacheco (21:50.67), Soleil Russo (21:55.46) and Kendra Amaro (22:05.20) came one right after each other in spots 15 through 17, while Sarah De Leon took 19th in 23:09.64.
