RCC's Wilson Named Assistant Coach of the Year

Following the conclusion of the season, Riverside City College's Mike Wilson was named the 2023 Women's Assistant Cross Country Coach of the Year by the 5CTCA.

Selections were nominated by their respective conferences or individual coaches and approved by the Executive Board.

Wilson helped guide the Tigers to the 2023 Orange Empire Conference title and a third-place finish at the SoCal Championship with two top-14 individual finishes. Riverside ended the season with a fourth-place finish at State, led by All-American Nadia Munoz in 12^th. This was the second time in three years that the women Tigers cracked the top five at the State Championship.
