Women’s Cross Country Competes in John Elders Invitational

The Riverside City College women's cross country competed in the CSU Fullerton's John Edlers Invitational on Friday night against solid NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA competition. They finished 15th overall, but finished above all CCCAA competitors.  

The Tigers, who are currently ranked tied for 13th in the state, were paced by sophomore Elani Huntley who placed 37th overall. She crossed the finish line at a time of 18:52.5. She was the lone Tiger to finish in the top 50.

Freshman Dakota Zamarripa placed 117th overall (21:28.6), while sophomore Dakota Hirst placed 126th overall (21:46.2). Freshman Lidia Barrios (129th · 21:51.2) and Dabielle Torres (130th · 22:01.1) rounded out the top five for Riverside.
