Women’s Cross Country Places Fourth at CSUSB Coyote Invitational

The Riverside City College women's cross-country team competed against four-year competition at the CSU San Bernardino Invitational on Saturday morning. The Tigers landed in fourth place in their second-consecutive week against four-year competition.

Sophomore Elani Huntley completed her first full meet of the season after suffering a minor injury last weekend. She was the lone Tiger that placed inside the top-20 with a 19th place finish and a time of 20:05.5.

Freshman Dakota Zamarripa, who was the top runner for the Tigers last weekend, finished 34th place with a mark of 21:48.3. Freshman Danielle Torres placed 38th overall with a time of 22:19.3, while freshman Alma Vasquez placed 45th overall with a mark of 23:35.1.

Sophomore Dakota Hirst and freshman Adileni Pacheco placed 47th and 48th, consecutively, to round out the Tigers top runners.
